Let’s face it—we have three (at least) generations in the American workforce, each of whom has a radically different approach to work. This site examines those generational differences through a GenX lens, seeking to find the best examples of leadership, innovation and teamwork across generations.
About Heidi Marcin
Heidi Marcin wasn’t alive when Kennedy was shot, vividly remembers the Berlin Wall coming down, and can neither whip nor nae nae. In other words, she is Generation X all the way. By day she works in marketing for a Boomer boss while managing a team of fellow GenXers and a Millennial. By night she thinks too much about how people from different generations interact in the workplace. Her Generation Z daughter keeps her from ever feeling cool, and she still listens to the same music that she did when she was 16 because she can’t get through a day without hearing Depeche Mode.
